Delivery Information

A specific delivery date for your stone will be arranged to suit you. Most deliveries are between the hours of 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday – Friday except bank holidays. Orders are packed in either wooden crates or on pallets.

They will be delivered on a large lorry therefore it is important to notify us of any restrictions in access details at the time of order. The stone will be placed, at the driver’s discretion, to the nearest safe point to the property; this may be on the drive or kerbside. The delivery driver is not insured to help ‘handball’ the goods, so it is essential for you to arrange for a responsible individual to be present.

All order must be examined on delivery and the rare event of any shortages, damages or other discrepancies, it must be noted on the delivery note and reported to your supplier within the specified time period.

Please take care when unpacking all stone tiles as spacers may need to be removed from packaging before the tiles are lifted out. Tiles should always be stacked and stored vertically (on back edge) but not on a hard surface as this causes unnecessary edge chipping.
